The aim of our Software Development Lab is to give students the opportunity to meet and help each other in developing software projects related to their studies or personal interests. There are several students with advanced development skills willing to help and give free advice.
The meeting is open to anyone who wants to share their personal projects, skills, ideas and experience.
We meet every Thursday at the 4th floor of building E3 of the University of Trieste.
Android Competition is a contest for applications for the Android platform promoted by EESTEC International. It is a great opportunity for young programmers to challenge themselves and push their creativity and skills to a higher level. Moreover, it is a chance to win valuable prizes (tablets and smartphones) and get an Android Market activation, which enables to share or sell applications through one of the fastest growing mobile Markets!
The competition is aimed to every passionate programmer under the age of 30. All you have to do is gather a team (maximum 3 people per team) and join us!
The deadline for registering to the competition with an idea for an app is December 15th 2012.
Then you have time to develop and submit your code until February 28th 2013.
There are no restrictions about the applications’ theme, so It’s APP To YOU!

Augmented Reality PASI
Augmented Reality PASI is an Augmented Reality application that shows the location of free wifi hotspots and internet access points in the region Friuli-Venezia Giulia. It uses GPS position and sensors such as the gyroscope and/or accelerometer that are available on recent smartphones.
We are ready to start with graphics labs. You share your personal projects, skills, ideas and experience.
Backlog is a simple task-tracking software, implemented as a Java web application with an ExtJs web-gui.
The first release will cover only basic features like deadlines and minimal user authentication.
This project is also an Agile-development experiment, hence further releases will be made expanding the first set of functionalities with more features implemented vertically (e.g: private tasks for user, definition of projects as groups of users, claim of a task resolution by a single user among the group, exposition of a web-service for B2B integrations…).
